2025 Garden Shows

Our History

Bowdens have been keen exhibitors at a range of garden shows. Our founders Roger and Ann Bowden began this tradition for Bowdens, taking silver at the Devon County Show 1992 and gold at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 1999. Since then, we have followed in their footsteps and produced many award-winning gardens and displays. Throughout, we have endeavoured to show off the beauty of hostas while we’ve grown to include plant specialties such as ferns, bamboos, and agapanthus.

2025 Shows

RHS Garden Shows

Since 2004, we have achieved over 37 RHS Gold Medals for our garden exhibitions, focusing on hostas, ferns, and bamboos among other planting. Our consultant gardeners are also RHS medallists including Paul Whittaker with 47. We regularly show at a range of RHS events throughout the year including:

Visit Our Gardens

Bowdens is home to two nationally recognised gardens and a whole host of beautiful plants. You can take a tour where the plants for our shows are grown, and we even provide a behind-the-scenes Chelsea Flower Show presentation upon request.
